Deputy Hunter started his career with the Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office and moved to Mineral Wells Police Department and served there for 14 years where he was an SRO for 11 years and a Patrol Corporal for 3 years.  He then moved on to Springtown and Vernon where he served as Patrol Corporal.  In September, he decided to come back to his roots at the Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office.
